Empower a Woman Save a Child Week

Hello lovely people! So this past week I got to be a part of something really special. The team I work with in Babes in Business went on a mission to raise $5000 for Operation Underground Railroad! And we did it! O.U.R is a not for profit cause that rescues women and children from human trafficking rings all around the world. Tony Robbins dedicated his 60th birthday celebrations to Operation Underground Railroad, and his podcast is what inspired us to raise awareness and funds this month:

Raising awareness is just as important as raising money, since human trafficking isn't just happening in far away places; it's much closer to home than we think! Approximately every 30 seconds, a child is bought or sold for sex, organ harvesting, or hard labour; 98% of those children are girls and that's just not ok! O.U.R not only saves these lives but they fully integrate them back into society, staying with them every step of the way. It takes approximately $2500 to rescue and rehabilitate one child, so every little bit makes a difference! I have been absolutely overwhelmed by the support of my community! For all those lovely ladies who went out of their way to share our mission or donate directly, I'm so grateful for your compassionate hearts and your generosity towards this cause! And likewise for all the beautiful women who joined me in The Healthstyle Emporium this week, as well as my current clients who added to your package; thank you for choosing this week to invest in yourself so that we could donate on your behalf! Babes in Business pledged to donate $10 for every new client and $50 for every new ambassador that joined the HSE this week! I decided to match that by personally donating $10 for every person who joined up through me this week! My goal was to donate $100 personally, and thanks to the support I was able to donate $80! And, thanks to the ladies that joined the HSE with me this week; Babes in Business was able to donate $200 on our behalf. That's not including the personal donations from people in my network!! Things like this is why I love this business and our community so much! I would never have been able to donate so much to a charity before without the extra income! Our campaign was called Empower a Woman Save a Child Week. Empowerment means different things for everyone, but in our team we make it our mission to empower women with health, wealth and abundance every day! So by choosing to empower and invest in yourself this week, you also contributed to saving a child - so thank you! Empowerment to me is creating an impact; not only for myself, but for everyone around me! Empowerment to me is doing something for myself; while I also wholeheartedly help others, it's impossible to pour from an empty cup! Empowerment to me is choosing to build my dream life; and then doing the work to make it happen! Empowerment to me is investing in my health; without my health I wouldn't have life at all!
