Hey everyone!
I thought since I've completed one shipment of these amazing wholefoods based products that I should share my results so far!!
I'm currently a quarter of the way through my second shipment, but oh well! Better late than never!
One shipment provides 120 days worth of product, and so we partner any purchase with our beautiful 16 week holistic health program, The Healthstyle Emporium, to give our clients all the education, tools and resources to make sustainable lifestyle changes over the course of their first shipment! Since everyone is different, and everyone has different health goals, there is a range of packages to meet you where you're at! I started off with the Emporium Package, which includes the fruit, veggie and berry capsules, as well as the delicious Complete protein powder!
The two main areas I hoped to see improvement was my energy levels, and my skin. And, wow! Within a couple of weeks, I was shocked at how much energy I now had! Five months ago I was needing a nanny nap on my lunch break 3-4 days a week, but after a few short weeks on the capsules, I wasn't needing any! My energy levels are now staying stable throughout the day, no more 2pm slump! And, on the rare occasion I find myself crashing around lunchtime, I know it's because I've not had enough sleep. There's a difference between geniune tiredness and continual sheer exhaustion! What I've found to be true is that you really don't know how bad you feel until you feel better!
As for my skin, it took a little longer to see results. The products can cause a "detox effect," since they're flooding the body with good nutrients, all the bad has to go somewhere! The toxins leaving our body usually present themselves as skin breakouts, or in some cases bloating or body odour. Everyone's body is different - for me it was skin; ever since I was about 11, I've struggled with acne on my face. It comes and it goes, but it's always been a fact of life for me, so I was really keen to see if this would help! After the first couple weeks, when I was feeling really great and full of energy, my skin was looking worse than ever! But that was just my body's way of detoxing; now my skin is mostly clear! I still have the occasional break out, I work outside in the elements all day, and my skin cops a fair bit, so it's no wonder! But overall, my skin is definitely clearer, and I'm excited for more results, since apparently the real magic happens on the second shipment!
Something else changed for me, and it was completely unexpected! My gut health improved; who even knew I had poor gut health!? But that's the magic of the Complete Protein Powder! It's packed full of pre- and pro-biotic elements, which provides our digestive system with the elements it needs to heal itself. I would have never considered myself to have bad gut health, and didn't really notice a difference at first, but after I had been using the protein powder to make my breakfast every day for about a month, we went away for 5 nights and I didn't take any with me. That's when I noticed a difference! I was bloated, I felt yuck - my body was trying to tell me something! Once I was home and back using my Complete, things settled down again! If I didn't already love them for their taste and for making breakfast easier, that would have sold me!
Since starting my second shipment, I've added the plant based Omegas to my order. I had continued to take fish oil through my first shipment, since I get achy knees, especially after long days of sitting on a four wheeler, and the fish oil seemed to help. I decided to switch to a plant based version in order to cut out the middle fish! Did you know that the Omega 3 in fish oil actually comes from the algae that the fish eat, not from the fish itself!? So plant based Omegas are so much better for the environment, and also so much better for us, since the algae can be sustainably farmed; there's always a risk of toxins or pollution in wild caught fish, or even wild algae! As well as oil from algae, these omega capsules also include oil from 5 other sources including pomegranate and tomato seeds! So I'm excited for the benefits of choosing a more sustainable omega option!
I chose to try these products because it just made sense to me! It's widely known that eating lots of fresh produce can promote a healthy immune system, and these products are also clinically proven to improve our immune systems!* (You can check out the research here: https://la36959.juiceplus.com.au/clinical-research/juice-plus-clinical-research) It makes sense that storing the active enzymes and phytonutrients from real food and then ingesting them in a convenient capsule could only be beneficial on a cellular level! Obviously a capsule can't replace eating real food, but when you can ingest the nutrients from more than 10 different plants in each capsule you take, well why not!? It bridges the gap on those bad food days, and gives us an extra boost on those good food days!
I am keen to see what benefits my second shipment brings me, and feel grateful that I can invest in my health and empower others to do the same!
If you struggle with any of the same issues that I did, I'd love to chat!
