Hey Guys,
This one is for those of you who don't know me yet. Hi! My name is Leticia Abell.
I'm a country girl, living and working in North Queensland; I'm a wife, I've been married just over 5 years; I'm a little bit horse mad, my horses are one of my biggest passions; I'm a doer, I like to keep busy, and I like to do things well. And now, I'm also a business builder with a Virtual Franchise! Who would have seen that coming?
I have a lot of reasons why I decided to take the leap with this venture. Health reasons, financial reasons, gut feelings. At the end of the day I just decided that if I didn't go ahead with it now, I would always wonder.
I've always been fairly health conscious - my mum taught me how to put veggies on a plate! And I've always been fairly fit - my work life keeps me very active. But, like anything, I figure there's always room for improvement; I love baking sweets, and I have a massive sweet tooth. So, hey, let's see where this goes!
The financial reasons are more long term than anything. I've just recently gone full time at my job as a jillaroo, after being part time for 12 months, and it's been a massive shock to the system! So, short term, while I'm working full time, money isn't an issue. But what happens when I want to cut back to part time again so that i can focus on my horses? Wouldn't it be great to have a steady income to bridge that gap?
Instinct is a big one. Working with animals on a daily basis like I do, you soon learn that feel and timing can't be taught no matter how much training you have, it's just instinct. So it feels right for this timing in my life to be stepping out in a new venture. And I'm really excited for what the future will bring!
