Who's a Network Marketer???

You are!! Hey guys! I thought it was time I wrote again! And something that's come up for me lately is that we are all network marketers! No, hear me out. You know that time you tried a new restaurant and loved it, and so recommended it to your mum? And what about that new song you loved, that you shared with your friend because you knew she would love it too!? Or what about that product you tried, and loved so much that you posted about it on social media?? Marketing to your network - that's network marketing! The thing is, you usually don't earn anything by reccomending your favourite things to your friends and family; but what if you could!? That's the beauty of the network marketing business model; you get paid for doing what you naturally do anyway - recommending something you love to someone who you think might benefit from it!

Yes, there's also product representatives and ambassadors, but the reason why some companies chose to use ambassadors to market their products is because they understand that the most powerful marketing tool is word of mouth! We are much more likely to try something if it's recommended by a friend or a trusted Instagram account! The thing about ambassador programs though, is there's no business structure - you get a discount, and you may earn small commissions on sales you refer, but there's really no chance of creating an income stream, even though you're doing the "work" and marketing for that company!! Within traditional sales, (the products you might find on the shelf at your local supermarket, for example) a whopping 70-85% of the purchase price is spent on distribution and marketing! And that's usually a lump sum to big marketing and distribution companies! However, with the direct selling model, only 40-50% of the total purchase price is spent on marketing - which means the consumer gets a superior product at a lower price, and more money ends up in the pockets of everyday people like you and I, instead of paying for a CEOs retirement! Network marketing businesses are literally for everyone - there's no discrimination on age, race or gender - everyone starts at the same level, and everyone has the opportunity to reach the pinnacle position within that company; if they put in the work! In a normal job, the corporate ladder is fraught with all kinds of discriminations, meaning some people wont get promoted, and in order for one person to move up in the hierarchy, someone else misses out or gets bumped out of their position. It's been said that network marketing is a team sport! No-one gets very far if they're not helping others; so it's completely opposite to the dog-eat-dog world of modern employment! Another benefit is just using the products that are marketed through MLM - the business may not be for everyone, although anyone can succeed at it, but the products are usually far superior, so even as a consumer, buying from a network marketing business makes sense! The products you purchase off the supermarket shelves are usually not quality tested as rigidly as those products you might purchase through a friend who's in network marketing. Products distributed through the multi-level marketing model meet much higher standards than other consumables. For example the health product I recommend through my network marketing business is rigidly tested, well researched and FDA approved; it has an impact score of over 100, while many of the supplements you would buy off the shelf in your local pharmacy would have an impact score or 1 or less, and they're still allowed to be sold! Another example is the essential oils company, Doterra - they use sustainably sourced plants, from select plantations, making oils of the very best quality, since cheaper oils can mess up your endocrine system; and on top of that, they also have their own charity, which you support when you purchase the products. A third example is various skincare multilevel marketing companies; what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in your body, so it's beneficial to chose well researched products over whatever's cheapest on the shelf, since those are usually full of nasty fillers, and are not researched much at all! (Please note, these are only the companies I'm familiar with personally, I can't speak for some companies who may be different from this, and if you see a problem in my info, I'd love to hear from you so I can correct it!) Network marketing is a timeless industry; there will always be products that need to be sold, and there will always be people who use and love those products who need a way to earn money other than traditional routes! We only have to look at the current state of the world to see the potential: work online from home? Check. Get products to customers? Check. Earn an income without leaving your house? Check. As we move towards an economic downturn, I'm grateful to be with a company that has survived several major economic events. In fact, not only survived, but thrived - many millionares were made in those times! It's times like this we have a choice; we make the most of the situation, or we don't. It's ok to feel a bit lost when the world as we know it changes, but it's not ok to wallow or to stay in that state! The world is changing, we need to change too! I, for one, am going to take hold of this opportunity with both hands! I'm going to financially secure my future, and I'm going to use this time to grow, to bloom! After all, "I can't", is really just "I won't try"! So I'm going to turn that into "I can" and "I will"! Who's with me???
